Hello, and welcome to the Colorado Miners Community Blog spot. This is the home of the community blogs for the Colorado Miners organization in Denver, CO. Colorado Miners is a private, non-profit association dedicated to supporting today’s youth and to give young people as many advantages as possible to be successful in life. The primary purpose of the community blogs are to provide an online communication network in an open forum for our members.
The colorado miners is a great organization that promotes healthy growth in anyone that is associated with it. Healthy from the mind to the body and in-between.
CHEATERS never prosper. You can't have a MOTTO "Be a good player, be a better person" When the Organization's so called President Blantantly CHEATED and Falsified documents to allow 2 confirmed and possibly more ineligible players to compete on his roster for 3 National Tournaments. PITIFUL and Classless.
"be a good player, be a better person" went out the window a long time ago with this guy. The whole Denver "fraternity of coaches" knew it, but now Las Vegas, LA, and Wichita know it!!!!!
Is anyone surprised? He has been cheating in Colorado for years, now got caught on a national level. I am sure everyone in Denver is just saying, "finally". He is not a good example for young men. Didn't just cheat once during the tourney, did it twice. Put his players at risk. I feel badly for those boys
Did anyone think how it made the illegal players feel? Did it risk a possible scholarship chance by being put in that position by his coach? Did their families know that they weren't allowed to play? As a parent I would be outraged
As a parent of a Miner, I don't want to rush to judgement as I have not heard the whole story here - only rumors. However, it seems pretty clear. If a Miners team knowingly took players to tournaments that were too old to compete in an age division we should all be ashamed as an organization. That is not something my son, family, or I can be a part of. I really hope this wasn't the case. Lets be fair and patient. Don't rush to judgement, but this has to be explained.
I appreciate the last parent comment. As a former Miner parent, I would just say be careful. We went for quite a while wanting to believe the positive; the best possible scenario, but the list piled up quickly of half truths, and questionable behavior. My son really enjoyed the boys and families but the leadership was constantly in question, and it was better to just step away. I would never think badly of these young men, we still care for them and celebrate their success, but if they are directed in a way that isn't right, and they are trusting, it will hurt them in the end. Good luck to you
Ahh mushy mushy. I agree with "truth's out chump" (that's hilarious by the way). This guy has been cheating for a while - from the rec league to competitive ball. He is what's bad about youth sports and not good for kids. Lets not sugarcoat it! "give young people as many advantages as possible to be successful in life". Wow, does that advantage include cheating? These kids were basically "playing down" an age group. The parents and players are just as guilty.
I don't know if the parents ever knew. He is the master at weaving lie after lie to get the outcome he wants. I know for a fact that in Wichita there were a few Miners parents that had no idea he was cheating/or what the rules were. This is what makes him more dangerous because it is so underhanded. Who knows what he told those parents so that he could get his way.
Loan Opportunity Offered By Mr, Benjamin That Save My Family From Financial Bondage { lfdsloans@outlook.com}
Hello Everyone, I am Putri Adiratnaa single mom from Jakarta, I would like to share this great testimony on how I got a loan from Mr, Benjamin, when we were driven out of our home when I couldn't pay my bills anymore, After being scammed by various companies online and denied a loan from my bank and some other credit union I visited. My children were taken by the foster care, I was all alone in the street. The day i shamefully walked into an old school mate who introduced me to Daisy Maureen. At first I told her that I am not ready to take any risk of requesting a loan online anymore, but she assured me that I will receive my loan from them. On a second thought, due to my homelessness I had to take a trial and applied for the loan, luckily for me I received a loan of $80,000.00 from Mr, Benjamin. I'm happy I took the risk and applied for the loan. My kids have been given back to me and now I own a home and a business of my own. All thanks and gratitude goes to the help of Mr, Benjamin for giving me a meaning to life when i had lost all hope.
